I am a Japanese teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience. Originally from Yokohama, Japan, I am currently based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Before becoming a teacher, I spent more than 15 years working in Tokyo across a range of creative industries, including the music industry, an advertising agency, and a web design office. My work involved artist management, music production, and organising live concerts, as well as collaborating on creative projects in advertising and digital media. 

Through these roles, I developed strong organisational and communication skills, working closely with clients, artists, and media professionals.

My passion for teaching began through meeting people from around the world who were interested in Japanese music and culture. Their curiosity and enthusiasm for Japan inspired me to support others in their learning journeys.

I genuinely enjoy helping each student achieve their individual goals. Whether you are learning Japanese for travel, work, or personal interest, I aim to create a supportive and engaging learning environment. It is especially rewarding for me to introduce not only the language, but also Japanese culture, traditions, and music.
